Dura Vermeer moved after 27 years into a new (old) building. This had to be renovated thoroughly as it was completely divided in small offices and dark corridors without daylight.  Therefor the access of daylight was an absolute necessity next to the wish that the character of the building had to be open structured.

The reception became a complete functional working area and was designed as a real eye-catcher with the use of the company brand colours. Here the O-shape pendant lights came in. The large pendant lights were custom made for this project and together with the yellow interior and the white exterior they matched perfect with the brand colours of the company.

By using semi-transparent covers at the bottom we not only created an agreeable indirect lighting, but we also supported the accousitcs while the pendant lights also function as sound absorbing objects. The random cut-outs in the shade guaranteed a playful light effect.
