Lingerie Department, The Hague, Netherlands

Nicolette Brunklaus was asked to re-design De Bijenkorf’s luxurious lingerie department in The Hague. The challenge of this project was to construct a beautiful, soft and feminine space within the sterile department store dressing room environment. We set out to create soft surfaces and sumptuous prints in various materials and in combination with the ‘Silk & Oak’ pendant lamps. ‘Silk Banners’ with cloud prints in warm hues were combined with soft grey curtains to achieve an intimate and inviting lingerie shopping experience.
